Music Lessons at St Stephen's CoE Primary School
What’s on Offer
St Stephen’s is the first school Pelican Music worked with. Although St Stephen's had a substantial singing tradition, very few children learned musical instruments. From 10 students when we first started, St Stephens now has over 130 children receiving instrumental tuition.
Students can learn an instrument right from Reception.
Reception - Violin and Cello
Year 1 - Violin, Cello, Guitar and Piano
Year 2 - Violin, Cello, Guitar, Piano, Woodwind, Brass and Drums
Students will need access to their own instrument for the duration of their lessons and to be able to practice at home. You may already have an instrument at home, or our teachers will be happy to assist parents in sourcing an appropriate instrument at low cost.
